Winter Wonderland

There's something wonderfully relaxing, nostalgic and "right" about having a white Christmas. Seeing snow on the holidays makes everyone a little giddy.

Ingrid's second Christmas was a jam-packed day of family, hours in the car, presents and an abundance of food. At grandma and grandpa's the next day, we bundled up and headed outside to play in the snow. Remember the limited mobility caused by snow pants? It was pretty funny to see this first hand with Ingrid. Her feet would fall behind her legs, causing her little knees to drop to the ground. She looked up at me as if to say,"What's the deal? I thought I mastered walking..."

Not so fast, my little bundle. Three extra pounds of fabric and stiff boots will make you wobbly and hilarious to watch.

She was a little hesitant of the sled. Harper was in heaven. I couldn't stop talking about the beauty of the snow and made one too many comments relating to everything looking "just like a Christmas card!"
